A funeral was held today for an unidentified woman who was pulled from the Spokane River last January.
A funeral home and cemetery offered discounted rates so Spokane County could lay the woman to rest.
A Spokane County Sheriff's chaplain performed the service which was attended by by staff from the Medical Examiner's office.
Investigators say all potential leads to the woman's identity had been exhausted.
Officials at the examiner’s office said they believed the woman’s family was still missing her and hoped that someone would recognize her description and come forward with a name.
She was described as between 30 and 55-years-old, without tattoos, 5’2" tall and weighing 144 lbs. She had dark hair and brown eyes according to the medical examiner.
